Responsible couple in need of <$900 Burlington apartment 6/1
Dear Landlords of Burlington, VT
We are a friendly, quiet, responsible couple, who currently reside on Loomis St. We are focused University of Vermont college students, both with jobs, and good references. Neither of us smoke, and have absolutely no criminal backgrounds.
We are looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment in the Burlington area that is Pet friendly, with off-street parking, and rent that is $900/month or less.
I, Eliza Graves, am a 20yr old UVM student, a 7th generation Vermonter who who works on Pearl Street at Cats Vermont Veterinary Clinic.
My boyfriend, Chris Swasey, is a 21yr old student at UVM, and a former staff member at Saint Paul's, where he worked as a Sexton's assistant for three and a half years. He is also an accomplished carpenter, who has many letters of reference, and is currently active in the "Front Porch Forum," with three different jobs underway. He is also a member of Nelson Carpentry, and has worked on projects including roofing, siding, new construction, framing and reframing, landscaping, and painting.
He has a LOT of experience in home renovations, and would be interested in donating his experience by "sprucing up" the apartment building if needed.
Chris and I are the proud parents of three rescue cats, all extremely well-behaved, spayed sisters, who are completely up to date on all shots, and have been FIV/FELV tested. I can provide HSCC pet resumes and complete medical documentation for all three cats, as well as at least three professional, Veterinarian letters of reference regarding my responsibility as an owner, and the behaviors of my cats.
We are ideally looking for a 1-2 bedroom under $900, available to rent starting June 1, 2008 in the Burlington vicinity (Winooski and South Burlington as well). We have a car, and would like off-street parking, as well as laundry on site (coin-op is completely fine) I dream of a dishwasher, but it is totally unnecessary.
We can provide multiple letters of recommendation, regarding renting and personal character, as well as lease-guarantees from our respective parents.
