VAOA Members can now run credit checks on prospective tenants Online. If you do not have internet access, please call or email our business office.
To access the credit check system members must down load, sign, and mail or fax the Credit Application to 700 Credit. It may take several days for the 700 Credit to process the Application. Please call the VAOA Business Office with questions.
Due to changes in the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, 700Credit must perform on-site inspections of your office area to ensure compliance. The fee for this is $95.00 (paid yearly if you are a landlord, and only once if you are a property manager).
Once 700 Credit Approves your application, they will issue you a login and password (it will be different from your VAOA information). To check an applicant's credit, click on the link below and follow the instructions.
The Credit Decline letter should be sent to anyone whose rental application you reject based in whole or in part on the applicant's credit.
